Developed in the 1970’s by Iona Marsaa Teeguarden, Jin Shin Do Bodymind Acupressure combines Chinese Medicine and psychotherapeutic principles. Using a traditional Japanese finger technique, gentle but firm finger pressure is applied to specific acupoints, releasing chronic tension.
Jin Shin Do addresses how our thoughts and beliefs affect our posture and muscular tension. Body aches and pains influence the way we feel. Balancing the body’s “chi” (energy), releases these tensions and induces a state of peace and relaxation.
