Erin attended Dalhousie University for her undergraduate education before being drawn back to the beauty of Victoria. She has studied Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and Pacific Rim College, and graduated from Oshio College of Acupuncture and Herbology in 2014. Erin is a registrant in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese medicine and an active member with the British Columbia Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture practitioners. Erin is passionate about healing and Chinese medicine. She embraces the idea of treating the whole person and restoring balance to the body and mind, with a focus on prevention. Her experiences growing up surrounded by nature have given her a great respect and love for nature's sophisticated workings and an appreciation for how Chinese Medicine views the body as a unique 'ecosystem'. Erin enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions but has a special interest in women's health, pregnancy, fertility, and pediatrics. She has furthered her education through countless hours of personal study and specialized seminars from presenters such as Debra Betts, Jill Blakeway, Peter Deadman, Brandt Stickley, Kikko Matsumoto, Suzanne Robidoux, Robyn Green and David Allen. Erin has always had a special interest in nutrition and a passion for cooking. With a strong belief that food can be one of the best medicines, she loves to offer ideas and recipes that patients can bring to their own healing experience. When outside of the clinic Erin can be found braving the elements sailing or hiking, practicing the art of stillness through tai chi, qi gong and meditation or racing after her fiery three year old.
