Leslie is an international Occupational Therapist who graduated from the Masters of Occupational Therapy Program at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in 2009. She is licensed and certified in both the United States and Canada. Leslie has worked as a pediatric occupational therapist for 5 years with pre-school and school-aged children ages 2-18 years old in Seattle, Washington.
Leslie provides assessment, treatment, and consultation services for children, families and educators within your home. She provides skilled treatment using caregiver and family education; play, engaging activities, and specialized therapy equipment to provide each child with the greatest opportunity for success. She offers services to children with wide ranging needs, and specializes in Sensory Processing Disorders and Sensory Sensitivities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Delay, Learning Disabilities, Downs Syndrome, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD), Low Vision, Failure to Thrive, and Dyslexia.
Other areas of focus include strategies to address social skills, self/emotional-regulation, and behavioral challenges. Leslie has a strong background in assistive technology, adaptive equipment, and environment modifications to increase independence.
