Mary Forbes

I have been working with individuals, couples children, adolescents, same sex couples, separated families, blended families and multigenerational families here in Victoria since 1971.

I worked on contract for the Ministry serving families and children for 15 years, Counselling individuals, couples families and play therapy with children. I graduated from the Pacific Coast Family Therapy Training Institute and became a founding member of Island Family Counselling Centre for the following 15 years.

In 1988 as a founding member of BC Association of Clinical Counselling I served on the executive for 10 years and remain a member in good standing.
In 1999 I moved to the Gables at 1045 Linden Avenue to work as Mary Forbes Family Counselling Practice.
